Recently towed the Jeep over most of the Ohio Turnpike east to west from I80 in the east to Illinois Cost was $57.15 for 4 axles - it seems the price goes up each year, next time I am going to stay...

Rather than dipping so far South to hit I-70, there are many other alternative state highways that run parallel to I80. Granted, the speed limit is slower and you hit small town America along the way. But the journey is so much more enjoyable. Why in such a rush?
I drove I80 through Ohio about 40 years ago..... never again (I hope!) After that experience, I found alternative ways to get to the Cleveland - Youngstown - Warren part of the State.
