I had my 2000 V-10 oil tested during the 130,000 miles I had it. Last 90k were using Mobil 1 5/20. Test sample and new filter every 7500, changed when sample came back with recommendation to change - usually after 35,000 to 45,000 on the oil. Spit a plug at 127k. Had NAPA shop insert stainless sleeves in all plug holes. No visible wear on cams or lifters. Had valves polished while down. Compression same as new after heads back on.
Note: I was using an Amsoil dual filter system, which included a large bypass filter. Change that filter every 25k miles. Takes a long time to wear Mobile 1 out, even in severe service.
