It also might depend somewhat on long term average temperature(s) of the engine oil.
i.e. Our E450 V10 has an OEM oil cooler - this not only helps the engine stay cooler ... but maybe the oil stay cooler, too, on average. Of course "cooler oil" has thinness and thickness upsides and downsides.
