Got back latest oil analysis, after it bounced around the USPS for a while, using Mobil 1 5W-20 EP (2nd column) vs previous change regular Mobil 1 5W-20 (4th column). Both cases used Ford Motorcraft FL-820S oil filter. Duration difference between 2 changes, EP change was after 21 months, ~4300 miles, regular after 8 months, ~4100 miles. Really no degradation of the acid absorbing ability as shown by the TBN number. Viscosity is up a bit.
Only significant difference is that copper is up by 2ppm.
Far right column is average of all Ford V10s, with an average oil change interval of 4400 miles.
Next change am again using 5W-20 EP, but with Ford Racing CM-6731-FL820 oil filter.
