I change my own oil at home.
I use exclusively Mobile One Extended Performance and a Mobile One filter.
Extended performanceI change the oil every 7,500 miles. That way I can change it before I leave for a trip and not have to worry about it until I get home again. Expensive up front, but super convenient plus I'm running a really good oil.
This works for me but might not for others.
Now if you rig is still under warranty, you will want to stick carefully with the manufactures requirements. I've been out of warranty for many years.
