Probably should have asked for some member reviews, before I bought, but anyway I received one of these today.... OIL DRAIN PAN along with one of these... FILTER, so it looks like I'll be changing my...

I don't have the space for something like that. Nor the inclination to do it myself any more. All that waste oil! But I don't expect to pay $400 for an oil change either. Last oil and filter change I had done at a truck shop was $125, included changing the fuel separator, lubing the chassis and topping off the rad.
I'll take that deal.
Even at $3/qt. I'm looking at $100, just for the oil.
Then there's the big CAT filter, the pri and sec fuel filters and the grease.
I figured out a storage place for the cart and under the coach.
Take it out back of the house, when going someplace and then putting it back under the rig, when we return.
I always say, I'm going to give all this up and then say, but they won't let me and especialy when the unexpected happens, while traveling...:)
That $125 was just for labor. I brought my own synthetic oil, and filters. I buy that stuff when I find a good price on it during my travels. They threw in the grease, but charged for 1 qt of the purple antifreeze.
Oh, and they swapped the wrong water/fuel separator filter I'd brought with me with the right one (Cat dealership sold me the wrong one, after I repeatedly told them it's for a RV on a FL chassis, and it's remote mounted). They kept the Cat filter. No extra charge. I thought that was a fair trade - so did they apparently.
This was at 'The Truck Stop Shop' in Hines, Oregon. It is a 'truck shop' but they don't mind working on RVs. I does help if you come armed with info on how you want things done if the job is specific to your RV.
My kind of shop. Let me wander around and look at stuff inside. Clean, organized, with big commercial rigs in various states of repair. It's a 'No BS' sort of shop. They are planning on moving into a new facility in 2018. Still in Hines, just bigger and less expensive insurance wise. Doubt they'll lower their $90/hour rate though.
