Oil change?
Problem: I changed the oil in my Holiday Rambler (Ford V10) last October with 5w20 Synthetic. Later I found my chassis owners manual that states I should use 5w30. Should I change it before heading...

Reclaim oil in red 5 gal cans are real good for Fords and Chev to. The name brands don't mean much. Just high pressure sales team and more money for them. You can cut your close buy 60% buy changing oil every 24,000 miles and useing the oil in the big red cans.
I don't understand!! I was told by Mobil ENGINEERS that a 5w20 oil, Like Mobil 1, would act like 5 wieght when cold and 20 wieght when hot. Likewise a 5w30 oil would act like 5 wieght when cold and 30 wieght when hot. So I would use the 10w30 oil. It flows just as good when cold and doesn't thin out as much when hot. I don't understand that difference in reasoning between Ford and what I think I remember being said by Mobil?????????????????????????
