ok to plug in 50amp and use a 30amp adaptor??
buddy just called and wanted to know if he could plug into a 50amp service and then use his adaptor to 30 amp on his 30 amp tt . I didn,t know so I,m asking. he,s waiting on a call back before he does...

Just to add. You can tell him that even though he is plugging into a 50 amp service, his TT is protected by its own 30 amp breaker.
