The adapters (50 amp splitters,NOT the 50 to 30 dogbone) are great, except for one thing. A LOT of people do not know about the Neutral and HOT on a receptacle. They think you can wire them to either spade terminal (30 or 15 receptacle). IF they reverse the 2 wires (reverse polarity), THAT receptacle will still function for current, BUT, IF you use a 50 amp splitter, THAT will introduce 220 to the RV IF either one of those receptacles have reverse polarity. It is ALWAYS a good idea to test the CG receptacles (30 and 15) for correct polarity before you connect your RV. Doug
REMEMBER, YOU ARE NOT GETTING 50 AMP SERVICE WITH A 50 AMP SPLITTER. YOU ARE GETTING A TOTAL OF CHEATED 50 AMP. 50 AMP SERVICE IS REALLY 100 AMP SERVICE.
