Looking at a 98 Chieftain with 30K miles any input on this unit?

- The unit has the 275 Cummins not sure of the chaise
- I had a 98 Chieftain and loved it. If it has the 460 Ford engine, look at the rear exhaust manifold bolts to see if the heads have popped off. They are notorious for that.
- I have a 98 adventurer. It's actually a 97 chassis with a 460. That chassis may be 460 or v10. V10 probably better but the 460 has been fine.
Mine had a leak but it was because of a broken end cap prior to me owning it.
Winnebago has ton of info on all their units. Parts are easy to get. If you like it then get it. - Any evidence of water leakage?
