It appears the problem is the drive belt or the drive coupling, or both. regardless, the rotor is not turning. The engine starts then dies, apparently because the control board is not sensing output...
Just in case you want to tackle it yourself or have a handy friend. Here is a link to how a DIY did it. You might even be able to find a independent auto repair shop to fix it.
