Onan Gen Set 5000 very rough start

I saw that the problem was the choke linkage. You flooded the engine real bad. When you flood it like that, there is a chance that some gasoline got into the engine oil. Check the oil level to see if it is over full. Also smell the oil to see if you can smell gasoline in the oil. If you are not sure, I would change the oil and filter before running it for any length of time. You can ruin the whole engine if the oil is diluted with gas.
