All you need if you only have 30-Amp service, is an adapter. We have camped many times where we only had 30 Amps--no problem, except you can only run one AC.
The cost is relative. There are a lot of good DPs available for a $70k budget. When we get ready to sell, we'll probably ask $40k for ours, and it is far superior in quality to any gas coach out there.
