jplante, I did read the entire thread and I did know you were serious. Mike Brez thought you were being sarcastic and he wasn't wrong for thinking that. It can be very hard to tell when you make such a provocative statement in your initial post. Maybe you simply didn't realize that some people would find your assertion outrageous. Perhaps you meant that one disadvantage of a DP is the high cost of repair if you hit a tree vs, the lower cost of repair if you hit a tree with a gasser. That would have been accepted immediately without ambiguity.
