mike_brezExplorerNov 12, 2014One last battery questionI'm going to keep the rv the way it came with 12v 8ds. I can get deep cycle 8ds cheaper than regular 12v. Soooo my question is...is it ok to use deep cycle for starting battery?
time2rollNomadNov 13, 2014Well get the specs such as CCA, RC and amp hours. These are very common configured as a starting battery and the clerk just knows it is an 8D.See these three. The heavier ones should serve you better. Can't tell if the caps on that last one open to maintain the water level.http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Battery-Commercial-BCI-8D-NAPA-Batteries/_/R-NBE7269_0213555926http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Battery-Marine-RV-Deep-Cycle-Universal-BCI-8D-NAPA-Batteries/_/R-NBE8276_0006559833http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/CatalogItemDetail.aspx/Battery-Commercial-BCI-8D-NAPA-Batteries/_/R-NBE7271FT_0362090875
