I did not call as I never had good luck calling.I never was able to talk to anyone. Just voicemail. If and when someone eventually called back it was someone that knew less about the problem than anyone on this forum.
I was looking for them to give me some sort of drawing or sketch so as to not cut into anything else inside the box that was not visible. That stuff is always easier to email.
I was on the road and hoping for quick assistance.
I've called customer service many times and have never gone to voice mail. As stated my suggestions are normally well received and problems dealt with.
I was in Stockton Tx (middle of no where) at a RV park and when we were setting up had a problem with one of the slides. My Jayco dealer spent a lot of time on the phone back and forth before we determined it would take a repair guy to tear the whole assembly out of the slide and rework it.. The repair team (2 guys) showed up the following day driving 90 miles to fix the problem. I don't really think it gets better then that.
