I bet a circuit breaker is tripped or off. The circuit panel in the ems is not like the one in your house, it's got a mind of its own. I had my dryer trip the circuit breaker and had to leave it off until I got it fixed. During that time my ems would not read 50amp, only 30. I unplugged the dryer and when I turned the cb on the ems would work at 50amp. There is no manual switching between 30 and 50 amp with my ems, it's between 20 and 30 amp only.
