Question for dougranier: I'm not sure I understand what measuring the voltage at the RV breaker panel is supposed to tell me. If the voltage was 60V low across the two hots at the end of the cable, and 30V low between each hot and ground, and 30V low between each hot and neutral, why would it be different if I plug it in and measure the voltage at the RV breaker panel?
That means you go INSIDE the RV at the 120 breaker box. remove the metal cover and then you will find 2- 50 amp breakers with a RED and a Black wire going to each. You will also see the LARGE white Neutral connected to the Neutral buss bar below those breakers. Check you voltage between the Red and Black(sould be double the actual line voltage(230 to 240). Then you will check the line voltage from the neutral buss bar to each of the Black and Red. Should be line voltage. IF so, your problem is NOT from your 50 amp outside or your shore cord.
Once you get the values that will point you closer to the problem. You will also see the Intellitec control board and the load relays in that panel also. While you are doing the voltage checks, test all the breakers for 120 voltage. Do not trust by how they look or if you turn them on and off. Doug
