My understanding of this system is, it will display 30 amps if it only see's
ONE HOT.
As an example, I recently spent a week plugged into a 30 amp 4 wire welder plug at a friends house, with an adapter I made myself. Mt intellitec EMS displayed 50 amp. It has no idea the current capability of the power source, it assumes if it has 2 hots it is on 50 amp.
