One thing that sold me on getting a Navion instead of one of the Ford or Chevy based Class C's was the legroom for the driver. A lot of the Ford chassis units had a slideout right behind the driver's seat that prevented full rearward movement of the seat when the slide was in. At 6'4" with an inseam of 36" I need more legroom than most and found that the Mercedes based units had the most. I also didn't like the huge doghouse for the V-10 that made it difficult (for me at least) to get into the driver's seat from inside the coach. The Chevy chassis units had the same problems as the Fords but not quite as bad. Looking at used units I was surprised to find wear marks on the backs of the driver's seats where they had been rubbing against the slides. Seemed like a silly design to me.
It did take me quite a while to decide but I have finally ordered a 2016 Navion 24G, should be delivered in late May.
