want-a-be: As you can see there are many factors that contribute to tv reception. I think the only way you will get good enough reception to satisfy you is to get a good antenna outside the RV and as high in the air as you can get it. Receiving tv from 60 miles away will require a good antenna in "line of sight" of the transmitter. If making a hole in your RV is the major issue with you, consider looking at places where other items already have penetrations, such as the refrigerator vent, or going out through a window. I personally would consider buying a modern crank up antenna to replace your original dysfunctional one. Good luck-- Mick
