Reply to Wolfe10, YC 1 & joraz...THANK YOU!! Those are all excellent suggestions. I will check the CAC and have the thermostat replaced again. I've also noticed that some people suggest cleaning the CAC with a degreaser or steam it off. I live in Tucson, not sure if any of the locals do that here or not, but will call around. BTW...our Cummings is a 5.9 (I erroneously posted earlier it was a 6.0). Thanks again...this gives me some things possible resolutions. Sometimes these problems are a process of elimination.
