owners manual

Would anyone happen to have an owners manual for a gas 1994 dutchstar by
newmar
I will be more than happy to have it copied and mailed , we bought our rig from an auction and it did notcome with anything. We are having issues with the stairs and the 12 volt system so any help would be greatly appreciated If anyone has one and is willing you can go to a copy place and send me the cost and I will send you a cashiers check for the cost. Thank you

I drive a 2005 Damon gasser. so I can't help you with the manual. HOWEVER.

I can tell you this.. There are two books One is titled, as best I recall, the RV Owner's Handbook, and the other, again best recall: The RV book.

These are "Generic Owner's Manuals" and apply to many RV, Class A,B,C,5er and TT.

Your Motor home consists of 3 parts.
1: Chassis, Engine transmission and drive train.. This gets lip service in the MH owner's manual.. You will need to contact the chassis manufacurer for a copy of the chassis owner's manual

4 (or more) walls, floor and ceiling/roof These are a lot like the walls, floor and ceiling in your stick house.. The roof is different, you can however contact Dicor for the manual on it (Basically you mop it with Spic and Span, Rinse it off and inspect it 2x a year.)

Then you have the appliances, Fridge, Microwave, Oven/Range, TV, Radios, Windows, Doors, Mirrors, and all the other stuff, EVEN the driver's seat has a manual.

None of this stuff is made by the body builder, and with one exception it gets lip service if it is even mentioned in the body owner's manual.

You go to the manufactuer's (Appliance manufacturer that is) web site and download the manual.. EXCEPTION.. I have a Dometic Microwave.. Open the door and there is an ID plate that tells who made it (LG, Lousy Goods) so once I modified it so it would work (I did say Lousy Goods right, 100% dissatisfaction with LG products have I). I downloaded the manual from LG.

Now about the RV Book/Rv Owner's handbook.

I have one of them (Forget which, likely the one Woodalls prints) and on at least one appliance in my MH, it is BETTER than the factory manual. Just so you know.. It is a good book and I recommend it highlly, (either one of 'em)
  • My Owners Manual is overly specific, not a "generic" or whatever and I wouldn't dream of being without it.

I guess every mfg is different.

  • I agree that most owner's manuals are practically useless except for very basic information. I've owned several TTs and FWs over the years, and I can't think of one time I've actually had to refer to the manual.
  • Call dutchstar and ask them if they have a PDF copy of the manual.
The particular amenity manuals would be better.
For electrical issues try THIS BOOK or one like it.

By the way what issues are you having
  • Useless as diesel fuel in your gas tank. They are so generic it makes them practically useless. Go out and write down make model and serial number for each item, then download the manual for that item.
