Paint Code

Looking for the paint code on my RV, see sig. Looked on every label I could find, nothing. Are the paint codes listed somewhere on other coaches. Will try Coachman but in the past once they hear GBM they have no info.

  • Take something off your rig that has the color you want and take it to a really good auto paint store. They can scan the surface for a color match.
  • As "dons2346" stated, paint codes would be useless. Even if you found them, no one would have a record of them any longer. On mine, I was lucky enough to have all three of my exterior colors run through the removable exterior refer door. I took it to a paint store and they matched with newer, easier to use paint.
  • Being a '95, using paint codes won't get you a match. From past experience, it is best to let who is ever doing the painting get the matching paint. If you are going to paint, then take a panel from the coach to a paint shop and let them try to match it.
  • Our paint code was on a label that was attached to the support pedestal for the drivers seat.
  • A good auto body/paint shop will have sample colours of virtually all paint colours used on different vehicles. These samples have the original colour as intended by the vehicle manufacturer and then all the all the variants in the colour, could be 10 or more variants for each colour. The shop may also have a computer scanner that can exactly match the paint as well.
