Blanket brand bashing. Thor in and of itself does not have serious slide issues. There are issues with full wall slides on the Palazzo. The 33.3 is not one of those floorplans with issues and the 36.1 has been re-designed so this probably won't be an issue much longer. I am a happy Thor consumer. they've treated me with some of the best customer service.
To the OP, the gasser is a big coach on an F53 chassis and as you've pointed out it's underpowered. I think anything over 36' is really pushing what a gasser can do. My opinion. That said the DP is more expensive but likely has a better ride all around.
