Senf-if that was the case with the Dodge it was starting on less than 50 amps, as that is what the breakers are in the older ones, so that would be one loose engine. Most likely your starter battery had some power and was just too low in voltage to pull the starter relay. Whatever.
I would STRONGLY recommend that anyone thinking of doing the boost wiring for the separator on a Roadtrek contact Roadtrek or do an internet search on the subject. It has come up 100's of times, and the I have never seen Roadtrek or any other source that deals with Roadtrek stuff, say it is OK.
