Parking/storage of a class c

I assume you mean that your driveway will be at a slight end-to-end slant and not a side-to-side slant?

If so with an end-to-end slant, will your Minnie Winnie be parked with front end higher or the rear end higher?

If it will or can be parked with the front end higher, you could fairly inexpensively take all parked-at-home refrigerator worries away plus add some automatic leveling capability by having rear air bags installed on your unit. These don't cost much and many folks have them on their Class C motorhomes.

After parking it at home just air-up the rear air bags enough and leave them aired up, so as to make the motorhome level! Also, when camping if the campsite turns out being low at the rear end of your Minnie Winnie, again just air-up the air bags enough to make it level for camping.

No problem parked with fridge off at any angle. Our Dometic fridge died at 10 years old after running continuously at a moderate angle in our driveway for nearly one year. Our RV repair guy said that it's best to run modern RV fridges near dead level when run continuously.

Would be nice to have sewer hookup at times, but having 30 amp and water is most convenient, especially since our garage is across the street from our house.

Mine will be next to the new garage which will have a water hook up and a 30A connection for the RV. Won't need a drain as it's outside and well away from the septic system so I'd have to move the RV anyway.

If you're pouring, think forward... Run some conduit under it for an electrical connection someday, and maybe a waste drop pipe if you're close to a sewer clean out. It's a lot easier to trench and bury lines under a slab before you pour than it is to try and route one after the fact.. Same thing goes for drainage pipes.

The fridge only needs to be more or less level when running. When not running it doesn't care.

You might want some slope so that water doesn't pool on the roof. I have about a 2" slope from the passenger side to the drivers side for drainage.

I would agree with "ron.dittmer's" comments about needing a slope. Here is something to consider, most motorhomes have floors that slope differently from the concrete they are sitting on. Either the back end is lower or higher than the front. So you could drive in or back in to get the refrigerator closer to level.

When you have the pad poured, possibly consider a future carport type structure over the RV to protect the roof and keep the sun out. They can place the anchors for the vertical supports in the concrete and you can build the roof later as time/funds permit. Hope you have 30 amp power supply nearby to help with providing a small space heater in winter if needed and also to power up the unit before you hit the road.
