Passenger mirror broken

Just purchased an 08 georgie boy pursuit. Love it. First trip, Fort Wilderness. First accident, hit a tree parking at night. Damage not bad at all. Hit and broke passenger side mirror. Glass only. Contacted Floridamobilerv. They came out to site, took pictures and measurements and vin number. They could not find the mirror manufacture on any litature. Phone calls were made to mirror company's. None of the major companies is claiming this mirror as theirs. Any suggestions on how I can find the manufacture of this mirror.

    or maybe the
    Forest River Owners forum over at IRV2.com, seeing that Georgie Boys lineage comes down to the current Forest River line of motorhomes.

    And I'll tell you what, looking at a image of a 2008 Georgie Boy Pursuit mirror, it sure looks just like the Velvac on my '94 Foretravel and on my old Tiffin Allegro.

    Maybe try Velvac with a PHOTO Option, OR Call and talk to a tech...seems that they should be able to point you to the right place to get another piece of glass.

    Thanks for all the replies. Going to goto a glass shop when I get home. Still would like to know the make of the mirror however. Tried Velvac, our coach is not an option. Therefor can not be a Velvac. What are other brands of rv mirrors. Also note that the rv repair person spent a day trying to find this mirror with no luck.

    x2 on going to a glass place and getting just the glass (mirror)replaced. That is, if it's only the mirror glass that broke.

    Ditto on Velvac.
    Look the mirror housing over very closely for the manufacturer name.
    Sometimes hard to see.
    I snapped my mirror assy off of the shaft and got a replacemenr from velvac.

    Let us know how you make out.

    This should get you just where you need to be.
    If you can't get anywhere there, call for technical assistance.
    I did this and they were a great help.

    If only the glass is broken and not the housing then any glass shop can make one for you but it will not be convex.
