No worries. Whatever we do will be checked against code before construction. I don't think this county has deep pockets, but then we don't either. Best to avoid any Mexican standoffs.
OTOH, the "advise" given here are more like ideas of what we might be able to do. Given that, I don't think we'll be building any Bunyan sized tables & chairs in the yard. That's a good one!
We'll find out soon if our "home remodeling project" is viable or not.
Lastly, this is a house being purchased through auction. As in "as-is". Before we signed the contract it was professionally inspected and we know all the flaws. The bank isn't making any concessions. Worst case scenario: We buy it, decide this isn't going to work and we sell it probably for a profit (even after RE commissions) or the motorhome sits out in the yard like it does now (breaking my heart).
