Pheonix Cruiser 2551 or 2552

Considering changing from my 29' 5th wheel to one of these model Cruisers. Have only looked on line and realize the 2552 is a foot longer with more room for a chair. Just wondering if possible for a small Euro recliner in the 2551. Will try to look at some used ones in the N CA area but hard to find any. Few used ones I do see the dealers want a very high price. May need to make the long drive to purchase new or used from factory. Guaranty has a very nice used one in Oregon but asking almost as much as a new one from the factory. Would ask this question on the Cruiser owners forum but have been waiting for weeks for my registration approval.
Thank You
BadBob
  • The 2552 is much more popular than the 2551 with good reason. Actually it is more popular than any of their other models. The extra foot gives much more benefit. You get the extra chair and a pantry, both well received.

    You cannot have a euro chair in a 2551. No floor space for it.

    We've owned our 2350 (no slide out) coming up on 7 years now. We love it, wouldn't do anything different.

    See It Here.

    Ron, looking at your rig's photos: Yikes!!! Where's your oven???

    We love pizza sometimes when out and about. Also, there's NOTHING like a fresh baked blueberry pie for your Birthday when camped way out in Western Wyoming at the base of Devil's Tower. (The DW prepared/baked it - but I had to light the oven!)

    The microwave is also a convection oven. Between that and our portable grill, we've been well covered. But I can't say how well baking a scratch blueberry pie would turn out. We never tried that one. It seems it would make for an interesting challenge.

    Anyone ever bake a pie in one of these? :)
  • We are big PC fans==we have had a 2010 2350 Sprinter, 2011 2551 and now a 2013 Custom 2910==.

    There is no room for the Euro chair in the 2551. The 2552 is the way to go. We have 2 Euro chairs in our 2910 and absolutely love them. They are so comfortable.

    When we ordered the 2551, the 2552 was not available (a month or so later it was added). We certainly would have chosen the 2552 over the 2551.
