Did that in a day when the d-i-l got sick and they needed help with the children. We even took time out for 90 minutes to visit a friend along the way. Hit a WalMart at 10? and rolled with the sun, ooh East into the sun! At their place by noon. Almost too tired to help with the kids for an hour or so. We drive 2 hr shifts which is the only way we could make it.
Swore we would never do that again. Find storage and fly!
Did you read his post? Really only need 2 stops on way home. Any help would be great.
That would be 3 days, 2 nights - 1200 miles = 400 miles a day. I can do that - no sweat.
Or, 2 stops - one stop for fuel, food, bathroom break. One stop - sleep.
