Sounds like you're somewhat in a hurry, so with that being the case, you might as well check out your batteries, inverter, pump and such by doing some dry camping. Having said that, the interstate Walmarts are a good choice and you can't beat their camp store for taking on supplies and in some cases, fuel as well.
