Mine came with a hitch hauler...have not used it- our longest trip was 30 days.
we fit everything inside no problem. each had a weeks worth of clothing, couple of folding chairs and some other stuff... food, dog stuff.
we used 1 plastic bin which I dumped on the drivers seat most evenings. during the day it, rode on the back which we leave made up as a bed.
we have a locking storage on the driver's side which carries a toolbag, sewer line, water line, electrical cords and adapters, my rubber boots, gloves and other utility stuff.
I am in the process of modding the hitchhauler to carry a small kayak vertically.
one thing with B's is that some are close to carrying capacity with 2 people and luggage...check the specs.
I do have a hitch carrier for my honda trail 90 which comes along once in a while.
cabinetry: Rt and PW are Canadian builds. CDN code for electrical and cabinetry is a Robertson square drive...most fasteners are R1 R2...just about everyscrew in the RV took 1/4 turn to snug up...wood shrinks in the desert as it dries--- that firmed up everything and took alot of squeaks out.
The weight and strain is a consideration on dirt/gravel...we do some but not alot.
My neighbor did a self 4wd conversion* on his '99 Ford based PW Excel model and uses it in Mexico.
He reports hairy handling over 60 MPH, good results on dirt/gravel and stays below 30 MPH on that stuff
none of his cabinets have fallen off
the excel like the 210 are widebodies- my thought on those was that the extra space was devoted to the can mostly...
