Thanks for posting that linking advice AsheGuy, I had missed that myself up to this point, and knew I had to figure that out before linking again.
About the 1995 Roadtrek, I LIKE that. May have been garage kept, looks good. I like the low mileage. Get the dealer to discount a little further, and that could be a winner. That is a GREAT mileage to start with. Just need some money in reserve for typical repairs. By the way, something to consider is your State inspection required for registration, and/or a professional inspection before purchase. Utilize those as tools in negotiating purchase of an older model, so that you have confidence in the condition, and what it will take to get it licensed and on the road. I ended up getting the 1996 Chevy 30 van (Coachmen) so this vehicle looks familiar to me as far as the Chevy base. I have been very happy with my 20 year old van so far. Got worried when the a/c needed recharging or repair, but had a local mechanic replace a small part and getting it blowing cold all summer for less than $100. I love the 5.7 for power, but I will caution that I get mostly 12 to 13.5 mpg, maybe 14 if all is perfect. I was hoping for a little higher. I have a higher, less aerodynamic top than a Roadtrek has, so maybe a Roadtrek owner can give a more accurate mpg estimate for this design. A 5.7 is going to handle this vehicle very smoothly and confidently, so driving should be a pleasure.
