ok, you asked for thoughts, so here are mine. I watched the video. Looks to be in very nice shape, I like the layout, the white interior gives brightness. Great vehicle mileage (53K), lots of miles left, it would be great to get under 60k miles when buying if possible. I like that the dealer avoids extra fees, which is worth something. I would not fault anyone for chasing that one down and getting it. If the buyer is independently wealthy, price is ok (full retail for an '03, I would think; in fact, that would be worth checking in NADA, I would think it is above full retail at that price).
I'm certain it is too high priced on a nationwide basis for final transaction price, but that brings up a key point. They might sell it in 24 hours like they say, and then who would be right on price? They have the advantage of regional and nationwide advertising, and reputation, so maybe they can get that price, and maybe quickly. The mileage demands a good price. But it is now 13 years old. Own it for 7 years, and it is 20 years old. In that 7 years, there would be a lot of depreciation.
I'd try to negotiate that one lower. I would be below $25k myself, but maybe I would miss it too. I would maybe need to find a better deal by "for sale by owner". But I did buy mine from a dealer so I can get there at least sometimes. I sell low retail antiques, so I understand the dealer's position and buy-and-sell profit, and the negotiation aspect as well. If this is the perfect model for someone, may need to pay the price, but I would try to pay under this for a van 13 years old. Maybe a few thousand off would be ok. To pay that price, I would want it to be less than 10 years old. Check NADA if it is listed, and check original retail price if that helps judge.
Regardless of my rants on price, I would expect lots of good miles with very low maintenance cost on this one.
