Pleasure Way Promaster Lexor

If you have a Facebook account you should be able to have a preview of the 2015 Lexor based on the Promaster 3500 at PW on Facebook. Nice unit. Looks like a blend of the previous Lexor and Excel. Anxious to see the detailed specs at the Hersey show.

With that, I am not sure a Ford Transit will follow.

  • It's a shame they put that hideous skirting all around the bottom.

The interior is beautiful but not as convenient as the Winnebago design.
  • It looks pretty nice. Because many friends and I had been talking platforms, I called Sportsmobile to ask when we could expect more news on their Promaster and Transit units on their website. She said that the Transits should be showing up for them to start playing with (my term) next week. (I am seeing them at dealerships here) There are problems with the Promaster dropped floors that is interfering with things like tanks and generators... so her opinion was that the Transit will offer more options for buyers.

But that is rather changing the topic. I think this Pleasureway unit looks nicer than the Winnebago - with that seat blocking the door. This seems to have a nice bathroom... and the large fridge. I wonder if it will offer a generator and if so, where did they put it?

Hopefully someone at Hershey will give us a full report!!
  • I just watched it on YouTube. Very nice, king size bed, narrow like the Lexor. It's a shame it is built on a Chrysler/ fiat.

  • The Transit will follow. They told me that Ford keeps pushing back the delivery of unit for them to start on. That's the model I'm anxious to see. I hope they can build something with the room of an excel.
