The close up image shows the steel wheel covered by the liner. Or am I missing something???
I won't argue with you, but they do look like simulators. Maybe it is just how the picture came out. - FIRE_UPExplorer

Are you sure they are not beauty rims? Not sure Ford put aluminum rims on their F53 chassis.
On Edit: Yes I guess they did/do put aluminum rims. One item I found that works for polishing this type of rim is a product called Semichrome (SP?) Link Mothers makes a mag polish that works well too. Both of these items require a ton of hand work, or a power polisher.
On Edit on Edit:
Further searching shows that you can get aluminum rims, but they are aftermarket rims. Hard to find and very expensive. The F-53 came stock with steel wheels and beauty rims as FIREUP shows below. The beauty rims are chrome plated steel.
Well Sir,
I really hope you're not incinuating that the wheels you see in the pictures I posted are "Steel beauty" wheels? Because if you are, you need to learn about how Stainless Steel Wheel liners appear vs highly polished Aluminum Alloy wheels made by Accuride. I can tell wheel liners from a long way away as compared to alloys.
Those wheels are Accuride 22.5 Alloy wheels that are "Uncoated".
And, if the OP ever get's back on here, we'll know for sure if he actually does have alloys or steel. I'm not familiar with the heavier chassied F-53 but, I have seen them and, yes, they do have alloy wheels.

Really? Snobbish? Got me scratching my head on that one.
The "Beauty Rims" are referring to the wheel simulators to make the steel wheels look like the alloy rims the DP owners have. I am not sure where the snobbish part plays into it. - VinCeeExplorerI've never heard the term "beauty wheels" before. They are always promoted as stainless liners or simulators. Beauty wheels sounds a little snobbish to me by those that have alloy rims or DP owners. Shame on you. Whether or not the rig is a Ford F53 doesn't matter what kind of wheel is on it delivered as a bare chassis, not a finished product by the coach manufacturer to the consumer. My Georgetown on the 22K chassis has 22.5 inch alloy wheels, standard on GT with the larger chassis.

The beauty rims are chrome plated steel.
The "beauty rims" are Simulators and most are made from 304 grade Stainless Steel. :C - sch911ExplorerNice to know things are progressing for gassers too!
- 2bzy2cExplorer IIGlad we cleared that up!!
Thanks for the info! - HikerdogsExplorer

Our 2013 Winnebago Adventurer is built on the 22,000 lb. F53 chassis. It has 4- 22.5" aluminum wheels made by Accuride. The inner duals are still steel wheels. We were looking for a 22.5" wheel for the spare tire we purchased and found about the only wheels available were the Aluminum ones from Ford at a little less than $900.00 per wheel.
The 16,000 lb. chassis, the 18,000 lb. chassis, and the 20,500 lb. chassis come standard with steel wheels and beauty rings. The 22,000 lb. chassis, the 24,000 lb. chassis, and the 26,000 lb. chassis come with 4 aluminum wheels and 2 steel wheels (inner duals). - sch911ExplorerAll F53's have steel wheels with chrome beauty covers. Pictured above, those are beauty rims. Not aluminum.
