We stayed there in April last year and returned in October. Two weeks each time. There are three types of sites to choose from, reg, waterfront and presidential. The first time we stayed in a waterfront site and found it to be spacious enough for our rig with 4 slides. The regular sites appeared to be large enough too. On our return trip, we stayed in one of the presidential sites which I would certainly recommend. Those sites include a cabana with bbq, prep area, refrigerator and a private spa, all overlooking the ship channel that connects Lake Pontchartrain with the Mississippi River. They have a small store, a restaurant with free live music, a pool with waterfall, a spa, clean restrooms and laundry facilities.
The shuttle runs $10/person and makes three trips per day. Be sure to take the Grey Line Bus Tour. Ours was supposed to be a 2 1/2 hour tour that lasted almost four! I learned more in that 4 hours than I did when I was in school. What a history lesson! Our driver grew up in New Orleans and was awesome.
