"Monaco is a good brand, but not perfect as you would think, they all have problems, but, some could be avoided. My new 2005 monaco was never aligned so tires were gone at 10 k. No caster shims, and towed out one inch.Did not lube anything, driveshaft fell out at 11 k,nothing but rust in the u joints.Bed slide broke first year, stove fell through the counter, sink fell through counter, many smaller things. "
So is 2005 a typo? is this a different coach? or a lemon? - WyoTravelerExplorerSome people Drive MHs out of the dealerships and run over curbs etc. learning how to drive a MH and then wonder why it needs alignment. Then they join a forum to complain. :B

Why should you need to lube and align front wheels on a new monaco?
Because the manufacturer has no idea how you plan on loading the coach. It will be close from the factory but until you load it lightly for short trips or fully loaded for full time use or long trips and have the alignment re-checked, you don't know.
Getting an RV front end alignment without having the coach loaded to the way that you usually travel is a waste of time and money.
If it seems too expensive for you, don't do it. Tires are pretty cheap. - Executive45Explorer IIIThey do that just to get you PO'ed....Dennis
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIOn a brand new motorhome, you shouldn't have to. We full-timed in our 2004 Newmar for 8 years withouth an alignment. What is your issue?
- vic46ExplorerIf that is intended to be a rhetorical question, perhaps you should elaborate!
