Possible Allison Transmission overfill

I just talked to Allison. The technician in Atlanta indicated that since the COLD level check showed way high that the electronic check was most probably giving me the more accurate reading on fluid level, and suggested that I drain off a couple of quarts .... but did not think there was any issue if I hadn't experienced any problems or abnormalities in shifting or external fluid leaks or spitting .... guess I'll drain a couple off .... Thanks!!
