Na- you are ok. No Problem with the temp that high. Now if it goes over 250 degrees for a time- then worry about it.
I ran my temp up to 250 degrees climbing a hill in 1st gear( the trans won't lock up in 1st). After I got parked and the engine and trans cooled down I smelled the trans fluid and it wasn't burnt- it smelled like new.
