Possible to run heat at night without killing your batteries

We have had this issue with all of our rigs we have owned. We camp with our Motorhome in the desert mostly and never have hookups. This time of year especially when it's cold we will run the furnace...

We have 4 deep cycle batteries and don't run low on power overnight, we also have an autostart on our generator which will charge the batteries when the voltage gets down below 12 volts.
