Sounds like the OP is running the Motor Home engine to charge the batteries which is not very efficient. A 1000 watt Honda inverter generator would keep the batteries charged all night, would be quiet, and would be a more efficient use of fuel. It’s also great to have a spare generator. It is important to run the generator away from the motor home to prevent carbon monoxide in the home and to monitor with at least 2 detectors. Yes, it is not as quiet as the desert, but you’d be amazed how quiet they are.
