Perhaps the OP, when it really gets cold (for him) should utilize a nearby cg that has electricity. MUCH cheaper than additional batteries and the set-up for them....providing he can find a place to put them.......

Even with window cracked, and vent cracked we stay warm enough. It takes the chill off..we keep it at the lowest setting.
