Possible to run heat at night without killing your batteries

We have had this issue with all of our rigs we have owned. We camp with our Motorhome in the desert mostly and never have hookups. This time of year especially when it's cold we will run the furnace...

If you don't have auto gen start add it. When the batteries get to a certain level it will kick on and charge them. Add batteries too.
We have stayed a few nights in the cold with both furnaces kicking on several times with four batteries.
If it was really cold and they ran continusly I don't know if they would handle it. I haven't looked at power consumption and compared to the reserve of the batteries.
