Possible to run heat at night without killing your batteries

We have had this issue with all of our rigs we have owned. We camp with our Motorhome in the desert mostly and never have hookups. This time of year especially when it's cold we will run the furnace...

Have you re-lamped with LED? If using incandescent your battery might be fairly low before the night even starts.

What is your charging voltage and amp rating? Easy to think you are at 95%+ charged and really be at 70% if your charging system is not functioning as you would expect.

Definitely get some solar. 200 watts minimum IMO.
