I don't understand how 2 GCs won't run the furnace for one night UNLESS, as has been suggested, they are not fully charged when you start or they are toast. I would suspect the former. We used to do several days easily on 2 GSs in our previous rig.
A few of things:
1. How often AND how long do you run your generator to recharge your batteries?
2. When you're at home, do you leave your rig plugged in?
3. When you are in extended boondocking mode, you need to do a complete and full charge at least once every 3 weeks or so or you'll run into "progressive capacity loss". This means running the generator pretty much the entire day depending on how beefy your converter is. If you have a WFCO converter, it's more than likely NOT fully charging your batteries.
4. What do you use during the day AND how long do you use it?
