Possible to run heat at night without killing your batteries

We have had this issue with all of our rigs we have owned. We camp with our Motorhome in the desert mostly and never have hookups. This time of year especially when it's cold we will run the furnace...

Not sure I understand the issue. ALL RV A/C's take inside air and return it to the inside-- no outside air is introduced.
