Potable water pump

When replacing the pump do I need To get a certain type or can I just use one that fits the pump fittings? I'd like to spend as little As possible as I'm selling The rv soon.

First, remove it and do a bench test. Then take it apart, clean it up good, including the pressure switch and use some silicon grease or vaseline on all gaskets for putting it back together. Tighten it up good and even and you should be good to go.
