power gear hydraulic jacks, 1997 bounder 36s

4 point/jack system
leaky jack right/curb rear
info tags unreadable (on all jacks)
NO manual in the bag of paperwork

need numbers for
model/system
for replacement jack ?
for replacement solenoid valve on manifold(one valve broken wire terminal on coil)

i down loaded a manual, but it refers to several different size systems

I need to know which one, so i can look up the part numbers

i don't kown if these are 9000#, 12000# or 16000# jacks

i 'think' they are 12000#
  • @Mr. Wizard:

Ahh, yea, I have seen that style jack before. Can't remember for sure where...

That replacement coil should work fine even if it's not an exact substitute (within reason that is). The pigtails make for a long lived installation.

Looks like you got it all sorted out. Thanks for the info!

That's what i did measured the Jack
And compared it to the spec listings for that style Jack

I don't have the work bench and big vise for the DIY fix

There hard part (for me) will be getting it off the RV
Already sprayed the bolts with Kroil penetrate
  • removed the broken coil from the valve
and inspected the other (2) coils

they are dirty, but not ready to break and fail

they are all (3) hydraforce coils, the brand that i ordered
except i ordered the ones with a wiring pigtail instead of the push on spade lugs
  • I have had rebuild kits put on my two front jacks. The left rear is leaking now. I ordered two kits knowing that they would be used sooner or later on the rear. I sent you a PM>
  • my new coils came in
and i replaced both 'rear jack valve coils' the one that broke and the one that didn't

the OEM ? coils are Hyraforce INC PN 6351012 with a date code of 4396
considering that would be the 43rd week of 1996, i believe these are the original OEM coils used by powergear

i put male spade terminals n the ends of the wires, mounted them, plugged them in, and they work perfectly

i still have to address the 'severe leak' issue of the curbside rear jack
  • the replacement jack/leveler from Colaw has arrived

    will be installing it soon

thing feels like it must weight 60#
  • installed the leveling jack on thurs Mar 8, 2 days ago

its working perfectly, holds place perfectly,
